This Case Study Series provides examples of practices and learning on inclusion of persons with disabilities, on disaggregated data collection and its use, and on the impact of inclusive practices on both persons with disabilities in the affected communities, as well as within the Red Cross Red Crescent Movement organizations.
Persons with disabilities are often excluded from humanitarian response and recovery efforts. This is partly due to the marginalization of persons with disabilities
in their communities and partly due to the lack of data and information on the situation of persons with disabilities.
