The Rwanda Red Cross (RRC) has been actively involved in establishing and supporting Child Safe Spaces (CSS) within refugee camps across Rwanda, including Mahama, Nyabiheke, Kiziba, and Nkamira. These camps host thousands of refugees, many of whom are children facing heightened risks of exploitation, abuse, neglect, and psychosocial distress due to displacement and adverse living conditions.
