Learning what actions are safe and what actions are not, what responsibilities volunteers and staff have, and where to access help are all necessary to create safe environments that are free of violence, exploitation, and abuse for adults and children.
There are a number of learning resources available to IFRC and National Society personnel.

This 30 minute course will help you learn about our policy commitments to protect people we work with. It will focus on the risks of sexual exploitation and abuse; our responsibilities to prevent and protect from harm; and what to do if you are concerned about the safety of a person who might be at risk or suffered from abuse.
Available in English to registered staff and volunteers of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement on the IFRC Learning Platform.
IFRC micro-learning course on the Child Safeguarding Policy now available!
It is part of a new micro-learning series, “From Policy to Practice”, which is dedicated to policy content and its practical application. Through this brief course, you will be able to learn more about the content of the policy and the action you can take.
