This Operational Framework is the main tool that operationalises the Protection, Gender, and Inclusion (PGI) policy1, the IFRC Strategy 2030 and all related commitments we have made in the IFRC Network2 in recent years to ensure Protection, Gender, and Inclusion in all our actions from 2022–2025.

This case study report examines lessons learned through programming by Australian Red Cross, Mali Red Cross, and Nepal Red Cross. The lessons learned from the experiences of these National Societies can be utilized by other National Societies to enhance their own work against child marriage.

This case study report provides examples of concrete activities and related lessons that may benefit future Red Cross and Red Crescent National Society projects that interact with children connected to the streets.
